Senator Jon Kyl

Please contact Senator Jon Kyl to thank him for hosting Geert Wilders, the man responsible for the film Fitna, and who is touring the U.S. this week.

It is a courageous thing to do for a politician simply because Wilders is such a controversial figure with the media. But this is exactly the kind of thing we'd like to encourage in our politicians, so please give him you very best kudos. He deserves it. Contact Jon Kyl here.

Parents of Croham Hurst Students

Every little victory counts. Islamic supremacists are trying to wage jihad by gaining concessions. Every concession resisted is a victory. Every concession reversed is a victory. The parents of the children of Croham Hurst School have recently reversed a previous concession, and that makes them heroes in this fight.

For years, the school has been serving Halal meat, no doubt because of pressure from Muslims to be "multicultural." Muslims, wherever they are, constantly press for special consideration and accommodation. Parents never knew this concession had been made, but when they found out, they put pressure on the school to stop it, and they won.

You can read the story here: Halal Meat Taken Off School Menu.

Charles Krauthammer

Every once in awhile someone writes a piece so clear and so persuasive, it is spontaneously shared far and wide and changes peoples' minds. Or at least loosens their self-righteous certainty, opening the way for new knowledge to leak in. Charles Krauthammer's article, Outreach, Yes. Apology, No. is just such a piece.

The article is about two comments Obama made, and how those comments reflect Obama's and many others' lack of knowledge about recent history. Obama's comments implied that the United States should apologize to the Muslim world for our disrespect of them. Here are a few excerpts from Krauthammer's piece:
In these most recent 20 years — the alleged winter of our disrespect of the Islamic world — America did not just respect Muslims, it bled for them. It engaged in five military campaigns, every one of which involved — and resulted in — the liberation of a Muslim people: Bosnia, Kosovo, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Iraq.

The two Balkan interventions — as well as the failed 1992-93 Somalia intervention to feed starving African Muslims (43 Americans were killed) — were humanitarian exercises of the highest order, there being no significant U.S. strategic interest at stake. In these 20 years, this nation has done more for suffering and oppressed Muslims than any nation, Muslim or non-Muslim, anywhere on Earth. Why are we apologizing?

James Finch of the FBI

James Finch, Special Agent for the FBI, canceled a planned meeting with members of the Muslim Community Outreach Program. "Regrettably," he wrote in a letter to the group, "due to circumstances beyond my control, the meeting will be postponed until further notice as a result of the planned participation by the Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations."

"If CAIR wishes to pursue an outreach relationship with the FBI," the letter said, "certain issues must be addressed to the satisfaction of the FBI. Unfortunately, these issues cannot be addressed at the local level and must be addressed by the CAIR National Office in Washington, D.C."

Similar letters have been sent to other groups affiliated with CAIR, including CAIR chapters. The FBI is finally cutting off contact with CAIR because CAIR has clear ties to Hamas.

The FBI made this decision because of the things they discovered in the Holy Land Foundation trial. As Mary Jacoby writes, "CAIR and its chairman emeritus, Omar Ahmad, were named un-indicted co-conspirators in the HLF case. Both Ahmad and CAIR's current national executive director, Nihad Awad, were revealed on government wiretaps as having been active participants in early Hamas-related organizational meetings in the United States. During testimony, FBI agent Lara Burns described CAIR as a front organization."

For a long time, the FBI has bent over backwards to help and support CAIR's state chapters and the national organization (because CAIR is perpetually demanding special consideration for Muslims). This help and support "conferred legitimacy" onto CAIR. But no more. Jacoby says:
The HLF trial showed that CAIR was formed to covertly influence US opinions of the Palestinian conflict and Islam, but without revealing its connections to Hamas.

For example, prosecutors introduced transcripts of wiretaps from a 1993 meeting in Philadelphia of the Palestine Committee, called to order by Ahmad and attended by Awad. In that meeting, Ahmad and others discussed the need to create a new political organization seemingly unconnected to Hamas or the Brotherhood.

In one excerpt, an unidentified male said: "We must form a new organization for activism which will be neutral, because we are placed in a corner, we are place in a corner. It is known who we are, we are marked and I believe there should be a new neutral organization which works on both sides."

Defying Subjugation

Taliban thugs have made it a practice to ask Afghani girls if they're going to school. An innocent enough question. If the girl answers yes, the Talibani throws acid in her face, causing pain and scarring her for life.

After 11 students and 4 teachers were attacked this way, parents kept their girls home from school in Kandahar. The Taliban had moved into the area and advancing into the 21st century was out of the question.

But the headmaster, Mahmood Qadari, talked the parents into letting their girls come back to school. “I told them, if you don’t send your daughters to school, then the enemy wins,” Mr. Qadari said. “I told them not to give in to darkness. Education is the way to improve our society.”

The 1300 students have returned to class, defying Islamic subjugation and taking a stand for freedom.

Chris Simcox

Chris Simcox is a Citizen Warrior Hero. After September 11th, he discovered, quite by accident, just how porous the southern border of the U.S. really was, so he went down to the border with a chair, a cellphone, and a pair of binoculars, and started watching the border. Other people volunteered to help him, and they eventually organized into the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. If the government won't do it, he thought, the citizens will do it.

Listen to Simcox's 17-minute talk below. His talk is full of surprising facts about who is coming across the border and why, and what it has to do with the third jihad.

Anggun — Rebel With a Cause

Anggun Cipta Sasmi is a brave woman who grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. She lives in France now, and recently re-visited Jakarta for a special concert. After belting out a few songs from her albums “Luminescence” and “Snow on the Sahara” including the hit In Your Mind, she offered her view on the new law in Indonesia making it illegal for women to dress in any way that "raises a man's libido" (read more about that here).

She told a story about some women who had inspired the lyrics to In Your Mind. She told of women who had suffered in societies that restricted the freedom of women generally. Then she said: "I was born in a Muslim country. I am Muslim. But I’m very concerned that my country is becoming backward in this way."

Here are the lyrics In Your Mind:

I don’t want to believe
And i don’t want to live
By the excuses
Of your weakness

’cause a woman should do
What she wants to do
There is no reason
For your shallow aggravation

Nothing wrong with this dress I wear
Nothing wrong with this smile I dare
Nothing wrong with my long black hair
I’ts all in your mind, in your mind

Nothing wrong with this legs you see
Nothing wrong with this lean body
And nothing wrong with the woman in me
Its’ all in your mind, in your mind

I just want to be sure
Don’t want anymore
You’re calling out names
Oh what a shame

Just open your mind
Then maybe you’ll find
That there’s no reason
For your shallow aggravation

This is the time
To change your mind
There’s still a chance
To change your mind

It’s plain to see
From anywhere that the only thing wrong
Is your irritating mind

You can listen to the song here: In Your Mind.
